I’m Ashley!


Nice to meet you!! I was born and raised in Wausau, a city with natural beauty and a variety of cultural offerings. I'm a real person who understands real life. I listen to every detail and work my hardest to deliver photos that tell beautiful and unique stories emotion in every photo. In June of 2021 I started the journey of following my dreams to becoming a photographer. Even though I focus on portraits and capturing the essence of the individuals in front of my camera, I'm always seeking inspiration from the world around me! A walk in the park, a drive through the northwoods, or a flight to the coast rejuvenates my creative spirit and instills a fresh perspective into my work. Beyond my love for photography, you can find me exploring local hiking trails with my boyfriend, Jordan, and embracing the beauty of our world, searching the internet for my new favorite song, or curled up under (at least one) blanket watching silly sitcoms like The Office, Bob's Burger's, and Superstore!

My relationship with photography


Photography has always been a true love of mine. It started with just wanting to take pictures on an iPod of sunsets, friends while hanging out together, and anything new to me! I was instantly drawn to taking photos. In June of 2021 I started the journey of following my dreams to becoming a photographer and have met SO many wonderful people along the way (including you!!) The biggest reward I receive for being a photographer is seeing my clients come out of their shell during our time together and genuinely get to be themselves! The part that takes the cake, however, is after the session when they get to see themselves the way the world sees them.
